Our tree planting weekend was a great success with around 400 hedge saplings being planted by more than 25 volunteers organised by Nick Raybould. Thank you to The Woodland Trust for providing the trees and The Dodford Inn for lending us equipment for a hog roast!

Our recent open day was a big success raising over £1400 and attracting lots of visitors who have never been to the farm before. The highlight of the day were dance performances from Bromsgrove School of Dance. Luckily the weather was as kind to us as local businesses and individuals. We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the following for donating prizes or equipment;
The Dodford Inn, The Queens Head, Stoke Prior, The Slug and Lettuce, The new Inn, The Park Gate Inn, Harpers Heating, David Lloyd Gym, Countrywide Store, Bromsgrove, Benessere Hair & Beauty, The Holiday Inn, Chennai Indian Restaurant, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi, Sainsburys Local, Charford 1st School, Stoke Prior 1st School, Dodford 1st School, Fairfield 1st School, Sweetz, Banners Butchers, Grass Roots Men's Hair, Speeds Cycles, Jayne Coates, Jackie Smith and Claire Price. And of course Bromsgrove School of Dance.
A rare opportunity to have a look around the farm was enjoyed by all when we opened to the public for the afternoon. We had lots of things going on including a dance display.
We now have lovely new play surfaces in our garden under all of our play equipment thanks to the generosity of charitable trusts.
At the end of March the farm had a stand at The Education Show at the NEC in the hope of raising awareness of the farm and increasing our visitor numbers. It was hard work manning the stand but worth the effort and our rabbit and guinea pigs were very popular
