Come and meet the staff
The day to day running of the farm is undertaken by the following staff;
Kelly Broadfield – Resident Manager. Kelly lives on site and is responsible for the upkeep of the buildings and grounds, supervising staff and volunteers, overseeing the animals, admin & bookings and making sure our visitors are well looked after.
Alice Raybould – Cook/Housekeeper. Alice looks after the catering and ensures the farmhouse is looking its best.
Shania Harris – Animal keeper. Shania is responsible for looking after our animals and ensuring our young visitors get to spend lots of time with them . Shania is on a university placement with us until 2025.
Either Kelly or Shania are available on call including during the night (emergencies only).
Kelly is first aid trained and has food hygiene qualifications as does Alice and all staff have current DBS certificates. Kelly also has a paediatric first aid certificate.
Staff are here to facilitate a successful, enjoyable visit but they are not teachers or babysitters. Visiting children must remain the responsibility of the adults with them either teachers or parents at all times.
