Support Us
We do not receive any Local Authority funding or statutory grants, so we have to rely almost entirely upon special appeals and charitable donations to help with our running costs. Each year we ask Charitable Trusts, companies and other organisations to help. In addition, we receive money from individuals and from fund-raising events.
Capital projects have to be funded separately; in 2004, we received a Community Fund Lottery grant for a major building project, HSBC Bank and Children in Need gave capital sums towards the refurbishment of our indoor playbarn. Most recently we received a large sum of money from Gateway Refuge towards the bulding cost for the kitchen modernisation.
We also have a team of volunteers who help with driving, general work around the Farm, with the animals, take the children on walks, organise activities and events.
We welcome any help, practical or financial; see below for some ideas of ways that you could support Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm.
Donations
It costs us £120 per child per week for a stay at the Farm. You could help us to cover some of our costs by sending us a donation to help a child or family have a much needed break. Donating could not be easier – use the on-line service, safe and secure from PayPal – to send whatever amount you would like to give. To make your donation, please click the button below. Don’t forget to activate the GiftAid option if you are a UK tax payer.
Or you can simply send us your cheque made payable to Dodford Nursery Children’s Holiday Farm to:
Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm Warbage Lane Dodford Bromsgrove WORCS. B61 9BEWhy not make a donation to Dodford in memory of a loved one or organise donations in lieu of flowers?

Please remember to GiftAid your donation if you are a UK taxpayer so that we will receive money back from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to yourself. To find out more click here. If you wish to send a donation by post and would like to GiftAid it, please remember to include your UK address and a note declaring that the donation is made with GiftAid.
Gifting Shares
This is a tax advantageous way to give shares to charity. Charitable gifts of shares are free from capital gains tax and individuals can get income tax relief, at their highest rate, for the full market value of shares on the date of transfer. To obtain the list of shares or securities that qualify under this scheme, contact HM Customs & Excise for more information.
Legacies
Have you thought of leaving something in your Will to help others? It is an opportunity to remember those causes which are close to your heart. Supporters of Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm can be sure that their generosity, however large or small, makes a genuine difference where it is needed most. Talk to your solicitor about how to word your will.
